(i155)
From 29th September, RotaMaster will officially support the latest 3 versions of the platform, instead of the previous 5.
New Features
1. Single Login for RotaMaster, Staff Hub and the Mobile App
New admin and member accounts no longer need a unique email. If you sign up with an email that’s already linked to a RotaMaster account, you’ll be prompted to merge accounts — so you can log in to both systems with the same username and password. Each section below outlines the new processes:
1 a. Merging Staff Hub accounts
Staff can now update their username to an existing one, merging the accounts. This makes switching profiles in the Staff Hub much easier.
1 b. Mobile App changes
You’ll now log in using your Staff Hub details instead of your app account details. After logging out, you must use your Staff Hub login. Trying to use old app credentials will result in a login error.
Profiles linked to your username will be available under Profile Settings > Select Profile.
1 c. Admin account creation update
When you create a new RotaMaster admin profile, you won’t need to set a password. A registration email will be sent instead, allowing users to create their own password and merge accounts if needed.
1 d. Admin accounts
Right now, admins can’t update usernames to ones already in use — but we’re working on adding this soon.
2. Automatic downloading of General Availabilities
General Availabilities logged on the Staff Hub will now automatically be downloaded to RotaMaster. Downloaded General Availabilities will be editable outside of the following scenarios:
- Availability allocation wizard is being run
- The General Availability is being used to allocate a shift in Rota>Manage Availabilities>General
- The General Availability is being used to allocate a shift in Rota>General Availabilities
- The General Availability has been used to allocate a shift
Other Changes
- NHSPS ODS code can now be recorded in Configuration > Default Settings > Finance.
Bug Fixes
- When a shift's times have changed in RotaMaster and the shift is then booked and subsequently cancelled in the Staff Hub, the cancellation email displays the updated shift times instead of the original ones.
- On systems without iTrent enabled where pay rate groups are not mandatory on adjustments, the field no longer has an asterisk next to it.
- People+ - Bank holidays are now pro-rated based on the staff member's contracted hours and the full time weekly hours set up against the Annual Leave Configuration, in the same way the annual leave allowance is pro-rated.
