14th November 2023 Release Notes

(i127.1)

New Features

1. We have reordered how names are displayed

Names now display as First Name Surname where they previously displayed as Surname, Firstname. For example, where we would show the name as 'Walsh, Julie' the name will now display as 'Julie Walsh.' Multiple areas of the system have been updated with this change.

2. GP Solo Form (April 2023 - September 2023) is now available.

We have released the new GP Solo Form for April to September 2023. This can be found in Reporting > Reports > Financial > Pension > SOLO > [857] GP Solo Form (Apr 23 - Sep 23). This report has a permission for users and can be enabled by editing the users profile in Configuration > Security and going to Rota Permissions > Reporting >Financial > Pension > SOLO > [857] GP Solo Form (Apr 23 - Sep 23).

3. Equality fields can now be updated by staff members via the Staff Hub

It is now possible for staff members to view and update the equality information held about them in their personnel record in RotaMaster. To enable this feature, a Staff Hub admin needs to log into the admin side of the Staff Hub and go to Content Mgt > Member Settings > Member Profile Settings > Allow users to edit their equality information. Any information entered by the user into Staff Hub will override the information held in their personnel record.

Other Changes

1. We have added a 'View Audit' button when editing rules (Rota > Rules) so you can now see what has changed, when it changed, and who made the change.

2. Shifts in Rota Archive Viewer are now read only.

3. Rota Weekly Viewer now remembers the previous view you had on this screen, and when reloading the screen, will show the previous view so you do not need to change this every time you use the screen.

4. The SMS/Email Scheduler in the Admin side of the Staff Hub now has a person filter when creating the schedule, so you can create schedules for individual staff members.

5. When trainers are reducing the number of spaces available for registrars on their shifts, they can no longer make the number less than the number of registrars already in the spaces. For example, if there are 3 available spaces, and 2 are already filled, the trainer can only reduce the space from 3 to 1 to prevent a registrar being removed from the shift.

6. People+ Leave+ When calculating the duration of annual leave, the system now considers Normal Working Days (if they have been recorded) to ensure the duration is as accurate as possible.

7. People+ Finance+ The 'Post Name' column on the Timesheet and Bank staff payroll export now returns the post of the shift.

8. People+ Leave+ When adding leave allowances to leave years, if the adjustment reason is marked as 'Allowance - Previous Adjustment Allowance' the system will now ask you if you want to add this allowance to all future leave years.

9. People+ Report 767: Starters and Leavers Pay now also includes Salary and Hourly Rate information for starters.

Bug Fixes

1. In Rota Weekly Viewer, the flag tooltip now correctly displays the current name of the flag, rather than the original flag name.

2. We now round TOIL allowances to 2 decimal places to prevent numbers displaying incorrectly in the allowance field.

3. When logging TOIL in the Staff Hub, the system has not been counting towards the end of the minute when calculating the duration (for example, if you logged toil from 16:00 to 16:59 the system calculated the duration as 59 minutes instead of an hour). This has now been resolved.

4. The 'Add Shift' feature no longer throws an error when used if the default setting 'Force comment to be entered when clearing Confirmed Person from a shift' is enabled.

5. Leave+ People+ If an admin user tried to approve provisional leave that someone else had already approved, the system would throw an error. We now display a helpful infomation message.

6. People+ Service years was hidden on the Record Sickness form. This form has now been resized and this information is visible again.

7. People+ Some staff were unable to update mandatory training requirements on the Staff Hub. This has now been resolved.

8. Attendance+ The 'Add Device' form (Attendance + > Configuration > Manage Devices) incorrectly closed if I submitted the form without all mandatory fields being completed. The form now stays open so I can enter the missing information.

9. Staff Pay We have reinstated the 'Save' button when editing Shift Elements on shifts using staff pay. This means the Shift Element can now be successfully updated.

10. Staff Pay The times of Shift Elements now correctly update when the time of a shift is changed.
