NEW FEATURES

1. Rota Weekly Viewer Improvements

We have made some changes to Rota Weekly Viewer to make the screen easier to read. The rows now expand to fit all shifts, and we have reduced the amount of scroll bars and arrows down the side. This is one of a series of improvements we are making to improve the usability of RotaMaster. 

 

2.  Font Update on the Staff Hub

As part of our plans to modernise RotaMaster and the staff hub, we have updated the font across our staff hub to match our new branding.

 

3. Pending Overtime on Timesheets

Staff are now able to see pending overtime on their timesheets in the staff hub. This is in a new section within Self Service > My Timesheets. The setting to enable this is in the admin side of the hub > Content Management > Member Settings > Rota Settings > 'Include Pending Overtime on My Timesheets'.

 

4. Contracted Hours in Leave Request Dialog (People+ only)

When approving a Leave Request, we now show the staff member's contracted hours for the selected Post so that you can ensure the correct amount of Leave is taken.

 

5. Personnel and Rota Group Access Report

We have created a new report to show which Rota Group each staff member belongs to. The report can be found in Personnel > Listings > [848]: Personnel > Rota Group Access. The permission to run this report is switched off by default, and can be enabled by going to Configuration > Security > Edit Profile > Rota Permissions > Reporting > Personnel > Listings > [848]: Personnel - Rota Group Access.

 

6. People+ only - Employee Contract Details Report

We have created a new report to show Post and contract details for staff members. The report is turned off by default and can be turned on in Configuration > User Security > Edit Profile > Rota Permissions > Reporting > HR > Employee Details > Employee Contract Details 

 

OTHER CHANGES

1. Date of Birth has been added to report [548]: Employee Compliance.

 

BUG FIXES

1. Bank+ When bank shifts were published outside an upload period and then the dates were changed, bank shifts were no longer visible in the staff hub. This has been rectified and bank shifts now show as expected.

 

2. When changing Leave Years and opting to create an additional leave period, staff were unable to see the extra period on the staff hub. This has now been resolved and staff are able to request leave against the extra period.

 

3. If a staff member was moved to a different Primary Rota Group after payroll had been run, the values in the Summary View of the Payroll screen were showing as 0. This has now been rectified and the values remain after a staff member has moved to a different Rota Group.

 

4. Some users were experiencing errors when trying to print payroll. This has now been resolved and payroll can be printed as expected.
