19th June 2023 Release Notes

(i120.1)

New Features

1. Unlock Shifts and Adjustments

There is now a super user permission within the Edit Profile section of User Security which allows admins to unlock or delete shifts or adjustments that have been locked manually. To enable this setting for users, please contact our Support Team as only users who have the permission will be able to grant it to other users. Please note: shifts or adjustments that have been locked by payroll can't be unlocked.

2. Set Notifications for Specific Rota Groups

In Notification Manager, there is now an option to select which Rota Groups a notification should trigger for. This can be selected in the new field within each notification. Only admins with access to a Rota Group will be able to select it when amending or creating a notification.

3. New Search Bar

We have replaced our existing filters on screens such as Pay Rate Patterns, Adjustment Management and Role Groups, with a simple search bar to make it easier to use. Simply type into the box above the list of results to narrow down your search.

Other Changes

1. When clicking on a link in the Staff Hub, the page now opens in a new tab.

2. Primary Post and Primary Role has been added to Report [732]: Not Worked in 3 Months.

3. When a leave request is submitted or approved, the subject of the email to the staff member and admin now show the leave type.

4. We have made some improvements to the Bank Holiday Management screen to make it easier to navigate. The screen will open on the month selected in Default Settings, and the months can be changed by using the arrows on either side of the screen

Bug Fixes

1. Some users were experiencing an error when running the Availability Allocation Wizard. This has now been resolved.

2. When creating a Set Availability, an error for overlapping availability was shown, despite there not being any. This issue has been resolved.

3. When approving a day off request that was overlapping with another leave period, a warning did not appear. This has now been resolved and a warning is shown when approving an overlapping day off request.

4. When adding a new user profile in User Security, the username was limited to 5 characters. This has now been rectified.

5. Where admin users did not have a  default Rota Group set, they experienced an unhandled exception when clearing out Rota Groups in Rota Weekly Viewer. This has now been resolved and an error is no longer shown.

6. When searching for a notification in Notification Manager and pressing 'add', an unhandled exception was shown if the notification did not exist. This has been resolved and the 'add' button is disabled if the notification is not found.

7. On GP Solo Form 850, box E was incorrect if the employee contribution changed during the period that the report was run for. The report no longer takes an average percentage, and calculates the percentage based on what was active at the time of the shifts worked.

8. When running payroll without 'Generate Fixed Pay', the salary information still showed in the summary section. This has now been changed to only show if fixed pay is generated, and the summary section and breakdown now match.
