New Features
1. Send Empty Shifts to Staff
Empty shifts can now be sent out from View Rota and Rota Weekly Viewer to staff who are eligible to work them. To do this, highlight empty shifts, select the 'email' button and type in an email or SMS message and press 'Send'. A confirmation will be sent to the admin too.
Other Changes
1. Report '[669]: Grand Total Hours' has been renamed to 'Total Hours Breakdown'.
2. We have created a new report named '[853]: Grand Total Hours' which shows a grand total of hours each person has worked across all Rota Groups. The permission to run this report is switched off by default for users and can be enabled in Configuration > Security > Edit User Profile > Rota Permissions > Reporting.
3. When changing the Shift Booking type from Approved to Direct, staff members will only receive one email to advise them of cancellation of any outstanding shift bookings.
4. Leave+ and People+ - the Leave screen is visible on the staff hub if any Rota Groups that the staff member has access to has the setting on to show the Leave screens (enabled in the Admin Hub > Content Management > Self Service > Leave).
Bug Fixes
1. When creating News or Announcements in the Staff Hub with the end date the same as the current date, it showed as expired.
2. Staff were able to book bank assignments without accepting the Terms and Conditions, even when the setting was enabled in the Admin Hub.
3. When a Trainer edited a shift with a Registrar already working it in the Staff Hub, the number of Registrars allowed on the shift was able to go into a negative number, causing the shift to show an unhandled exception when viewing it in RotaMaster. This has been resolved.
4. When viewing a dispute comment on a shift and writing a reply in the 'admin comments' section, an error was shown if the character limit was exceeded. This error has now been replaced with a character count beneath the comments box so you can see how many characters in the message are remaining.
5. When making changes to shifts in View Rota and Shift Pattern Manager, the shift would sometimes jump out of view. This issue has been resolved and the shifts now stay in view after being edited.
6. When copying a shift in View Rota or Rota Weekly Viewer that had a Default Team in it, the team did not copy across.
7. Super users with the permission to edit locked shifts and adjustments were not able to edit a shift or adjustment that was locked.
8. When running the Availability Allocation Wizard, it would sometimes time out upon pressing 'Run Allocation'.
9. When new leave years were created for the next year, allowances assigned by an Annual Leave Configuration were not being recalculated. This has been rectified and all allowances show as expected.
10. When using the 'No Annual Leave Left' notification, a notification would trigger when approving leave for a different year if there was no allowance left for any other years. The notification now only triggers if there is no remaining allowance for the year that has the request logged against it.
11. Core Only - The Secondary Roles field in the Personnel Record had moved away from the header.
12. Information entered into the Ethnicity field within a Personnel Record was not saving. This has been fixed and information saves as expected.
13. When running report '[801]: Role Group Analysis', some staff members were showing as assigned to a role group that they did not have assigned. The report now correctly displays the role group information.
14. When emailing out payroll, National Insurance number did not display correctly in the email body. This has been rectified and the National Insurance number now displays correctly. We have also removed some insert fields which were not populated when emailing payroll runs.
15. When emailing out the 'Gross Pay Statement with Average Hourly Rate', National Insurance number and Professional Registration number were showing in an encrypted format.
