New Features

1. GP SOLO Form 01 Apr 2025 - 31 Mar 2026

 

A new GP SOLO form for 1st April 2025 to 31 March 2026 is now available. To run it, go to Reporting > Reports > Financial > Pension > SOLO > [869]: GP Solo Form (Apr 25 - Mar 26).

 

2. Mandatory Training Requirements Report

 

People+ - Report [868]: Mandatory Training Requiremements has been created to show a list of mandatory training requirements assigned to each staff member. For RotaMaster admins without full access to reporting, the permission to run this report is switched off by default and can be enabled in Configuration > Security > Edit User > Rota Permissions > Reporting > HR > Training > 868 - Mandatory Training Requirements.

 

 

Other Changes

  1. The following columns have been removed from report [864]: Individual Pension Analysis with Shift Details: Shift Category, Shift Group.
  2. A new invoice Export named 'Finance Export with Sage References' has been created. For further information, please see our guide on this report.
  3. When declining a shift exchange, you can now enter a declined reason which will be sent to the staff members on Declined Shift Swap  email. 
  4. When editing an adjustment that has already been approved, it will become unapproved upon saving. 

Bug Fixes

Shifts

  1. When moving staff members from one Rota Group to another and choosing to remove them from shifts, they are only removed from shifts in Shift Pattern Manager for the Rota Group they have been removed from.
  2. When editing a shift in Shift Pattern Manager, the ‘Room’ field is now visible.
  3. When rolling out a rota in Manage Calendar, the start week automatically populates based on the last one rolled out if a single pattern is selected.
  4. When rolling out a rota in Manage Calendar, the duty station recorded against any shift adjustments is now retained in the live rota.
  5. Adding a new shift on View Rota no longer shows an unhandled exception when adding a confirmed person.
  6. Shifts now display on Rota Weekly Viewer (zoomed in view) according to when they start and end, instead of spanning the whole day.
  7. Shift booking requests now display correctly in the Booking Details section of Accept/Reject Bookings.
  8. The ‘period limit’ rule is now taken into account when staff request shifts via direct Shift Bookings.
  9. Team Confirmations – admins no longer receive a copy of the email with a PDF attachment of shift details for each staff member.
  10. People+ - When changing the role on a shift with a confirmed person, the default Post is now refreshed and the relevant Post selected
  11. People+ - Future Primary Posts do not become primary when the current Post is still active
  12. People+ - When changing a Post on a confirmed shift to one that doesn’t have a Pay Rate Pattern assigned, you are now prompted to set the shift value back to the default rate

Self Service

  1. Staff Hub Users can now update their Equality Information as expected
  2. People+, Leave+ - When approving a leave request and changing the zone, the value of the adjustment now updates based on the zone rate assigned to the pay rate group
  3. People+, Leave+ - When approving a leave request, you now have the option to recalculate the duration to match the shift times
  4. People+ When an admin declines an Overtime claim that was for a secondary Post, the staff member now receives an email to notify them of the decline, and an email is also sent to the admin
  5. People+ - When changing the start time of a shift and choosing to record a TOIL session, the session is now added to the beginning of the shift as expected
  6. People+ - TOIL Allowance can be manually updated without issue
  7. People+ - When approving an Overtime request for a staff member that has a Pay Rate Pattern assigned, only overtime rates assigned to the pattern are shown to select from
  8. People+ - When trying to view documents that have been uploaded by staff members against Mandatory Training records, an unhandled exception no longer appears
  9. People+ - Mandatory Training Expiry notifications no longer send incorrectly when the training record is compliant

Posts

  1. People+ - When changing the location against a Post in a personnel record, it now stays populated upon saving and re-opening the record

Sickness

  1. People+ - When extending the duration of a sickness absence, if a temporary adjustment is deleted, the staff member will still be removed from the shift
  2. People+ - Sick Pay Allowance is now pro-rated based on FTE
  3. People+ - When sickness adjustments are edited and then sick pay settings (such as ‘exclude from sick pay’) are toggled, the updated values remain
  4. People+ - Sickness Duration notifications now only send once when initially triggered

User Profiles

  1. When creating a new user profile, an error message no longer appears
  2. Line Manager permissions are now taken into account when using the ‘copy from user or template’ function

MFA

  1. Users are no longer asked to set up MFA each time they log in

Other

  1. When adding a document, an asterisk has been added to indicate a mandatory field. 
  2. Only the 'Enable Attendance+ on the mobile app' default setting needs to be enabled to allow clocking in and out using the mobile app.
