Duty Stations

Duty Stations are used RotaMaster to outline specific shift locations. They are assigned to shifts to show the location of a shift to both administrators and staff members.

They are initially added to shifts when creating Shift Patterns in Shift Pattern Manager - see here.

Duty Stations are also often configured for 'Training' and 'On Call', for example.

The different Duty Stations are configured under Rota > Rota Settings.

Travelling Time Rules

Travelling Time Rules can be configured to outline travelling time between any two Duty Stations. These are then used by the system to prevent staff being allocated back-back shifts at different Duty Stations that are too far apart for it to be practical.

To add these rules, select a 'From/To' Duty Station and then click the green plus button under Travelling Time Rules.

In the dialogue box, select the second 'From/To' Duty Station and enter the time that it takes to travel between the first and second Duty Station.

Duty Stations can be edited at any time and the changes will be reflected in any shifts that the specific Duty Station is used in.
