How do I limit a staff members hours per week/month?

You can create rules in the system that limit a staff members working hours over a certain time period.

To do this you need to go to the Rules page which can be found under Rota > Rules.

Once you are here you can filter by Rota Group and Team to select an individual staff member.

When the appropriate staff member has been selected, click on the green plus button Per 20 and the following box will appear:

In the Rule Type box you need to select Period Limit and you'll see the following box:

Here you can set a maximum number of shifts or hours in a day/week/month/allocation. You can also apply this to a specific Shift Group, Zone or Rota Group.

So for example in the box below the staff member is limited to working 2 night shifts per week:

Once you are happy with the rule you have set click Save.
