Statutory Sick Pay
✋Please note, any Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) changes in this release are configuration only and are controlled by a setting in Configuration>Default Settings>Advanced Settings.
Calculations required for SSP contributions towards Sickness Adjustments in RotaMaster will come in later releases .
1. People+: Statutory Sick Pay Configuration
In Configuration>Sick Pay Configuration there is a new tab called 'Statutory Sick Pay'. This allows users to set the weekly Statutory Sick Pay rate and view the 'Total Allowance' and 'Average Weekly Earnings' threshold required for Statutory Sick Pay. 'Total Allowance' and 'Average Weekly Earnings' are both hardcoded into RotaMaster with the correct details as of 6th April 2025 and cannot currently be changed.
The setting called "Don't pay SSP if Fit Note is not added" will not function until a later release.
2. People+: Statutory Sick Pay showing in Personnel Records
In Personnel Record>Posts>Sick Leave there is a new screen called "Statutory Sick Pay" allowing admins to view remaining Statutory Sick Pay allowances. Qualifying days can also be set here, these must be between 1 and 7 with the system default being 7.
