Setting up Multi-factor Authentication with email for Admin users

The following article covers how to set up a RotaMaster admin account to use Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) with an email address for both RotaMaster and Staff Hub

Setting up MFA in RotaMaster

When you log into RotaMaster, you will be prompted to set up MFA.

1. Select 'Email'

2. Press 'Next'

Validating your email address

If this is the first time you have set up MFA with your email address, you will be asked to validate your email address.

3. Press 'Validate' - this will send you an email with an authentication code.

4. Enter the 6 digit authentication code and press 'OK'

💡Not received the email? Check your junk folder. If still not there, click the 'Resend' button to receive a new authentication code

5. You have now successfully set up MFA and will be logged into the system - you will be emailed an authentication code every time you log into RotaMaster from now on.

Setting up MFA in Staff Hub

💡If you have already followed the above steps, you do not need to set up MFA separately for your Staff Hub Admin account - it will automatically be enabled for you.

When you log into the Staff Hub, you will be prompted to set up MFA.

1. Select 'Email'

2. Ensure your email address is correct in the 'Device' field

3. Press 'Submit'

4. Enter the 6 digit authentication code you have been sent via email

4. Press 'Submit' again - you will now be logged in and MFA will be enabled.
