Shift Cancellation
Staff members can be given the option to be able to cancel shifts on NetMaster. To turn this setting on go to Personnel > Personnel Manager > Personnel Record > Web Settings:
Here, there is a drop down box, highlighted above, giving you the option to chose Allowed or Not Allowed for Shift Cancellations. Selecting Allowed will allow your staff to cancel shifts within a given time before the shift is due to start.
To set how many hours before the start of a shift a staff member can cancel their shift you will have to log in to the admin side of NetMaster and go to Content Mgt > Member Settings > Rota Settings:
Set the desired "Allowed minimum hours before a shift start to cancel" by changing the number in the box and press Save. Staff members will then be able to cancel their shifts any time up until this number of hours before the shift start.
Once a staff member has cancelled a shift the empty shift will return to it's original Pay Rate Group and will automatically be shown on either Log Availabilities or Web Bookings depending on your shift status setting.
An email confirming the cancellation will also be sent to the staff member and the email address in the Web Bookings section of Rota Group Settings > NetMaster Email:
