This article only applies to RotaMaster People+ and Leave+ customers. Please speak to your Account Manager about these modules.
Staff can submit Leave and Day Off Requests from the Staff Web Portal that can be either approved or declined by administrators in RotaMaster.

To view outstanding Leave or Day Off Requests, go to Self-Service > Leave Requests;
The page will automatically open on the Leave/Day Off Requests screen;
The filters on the left hand side can be used to view requests from certain Rota Groups, Teams, Roles or individuals.
By default, the Leave Requests tab will open on the right hand side. Note - The Day Off Tab displays the same information in the same format.
When clicking on a leave request you will be able to see details of all leave allowances that staff member has, i.e Annual Leave and TOIL allowances.
To approve a Leave/Day Off Request, click the blue tick;
This will open the following window;
Administrators can make final changes to the Leave Request from this window, including changing the dates/times of the request if they have been submitted incorrectly, as well as changing the duration of the leave request. Please note - once Save is clicked, the staff member will be removed from any shifts ticked in the Shifts box.
If the staff member has their Daily Working Hours recorded in their Personnel Records then they will show on the right hand side of the approve leave box:
The staff member will receive an email advising that the request has been approved.
To Decline a Leave/Day Off Request, click on the red cross button;
This will open the following window;
From here, administrators can enter a declination reason/comment, and choose to email this to the requester. If 'Send Email Notification' is not selected, the Leave/Day Off Request will just show as declined on the Web Portal.
Leave and Days Off can also be approved and declined from the Leave Calendar
