How to approve cancelled leave requests and delete a leave adjustment as an admin

Cancelling leave from Adjustments & Leave
To cancel a Leave Adjustment navigate to Personnel>Adjustments & Leave and use the filters on the left to select the date of the Adjustment and the Person
Once you have selected your staff member any Adjustments within the selected date range will show.
Select the Leave Adjustment you want to cancel using the tickbox and click Delete Adjustment
Fill in the Cancel Leave Record box and click Save
💡Leave Cancellation Reasons are set up in Personnel>Reference Settings>Dictionaries
After clicking Save you will be asked if you're sure you want to cancel the leave, clicking Yes here will delete the Adjustment
✋Please note the staff member will not be notified their leave has been cancelled and they will not be put back into any shifts they were removed from.
Approving Leave Cancellation Requests
Staff can submit a request to cancel any future approved leave requests from the Staff Hub, these requests will go into a Pending state waiting for admin approval
💡To help your staff submit a leave cancellation request follow this guide
To approve the leave cancellation request navigate to Self Service>Leave Requests and click the Approved Leave Cancellation tab
💡The filters on the left of the screen can be used to narrow down your results. Clicking the refresh button will pull through the relevant results
Select the request you would like to approve and click the blue tick
If the original request removed the staff member from a shift(s) you will be asked if you would like them to be reallocated back to their original shift(s)
Clicking Yes here will reassign that staff member, if another person is now working that shift they will be removed.
The leave request will then be cancelled and the staff member will receive an email confirming their cancellation.
If you do not want to allow them to cancel their leave click the red cross, you will be asked to enter a comment before clicking Save. The staff member will receive and email declining their request and detailing your comments.
