Cancelling Leave as an Administrator

This article only applies to People+ and Leave+ Customers. Speak to your Account Manager about an upgrade.

Cancelling Leave

You can cancel an approved leave request from the Manage Leave/Days Off tab of the Leave Requests screen and from the Adjustments and Leave screen.

Leave Requests Screen

To cancel leave from this screen, click on the Manage Leave/Days Off tab and then select the leave.

Once you have selected the leave record, click on the 'Cancel Leave Request' button  The following dialog will appear:

Choose your cancellation reason, add any comments and press save. The person will receive an email advising that their leave has been cancelled.

Leave and Adjustment screen

To cancel leave from this screen, select the episode of leave that you want to cancel and then click the 'Delete Adjustment' button

The process is then the same as above.

 

Viewing Cancelled Leave

Cancelled Leave can be viewed on the Manage Leave screen, in the personnel record and by the staff member themselves on the self service section of the web portal.

Manage Leave

To view cancelled leave on the manage leave screen, click the 'Include Cancelled Annual Leave' tick box. This will open up another panel with cancelled leave on it. The panels can all be rearranged to make the information more legible if necessary.

 

Personnel Record

Cancelled leave can be viewed on a second tab of the Current Leave Year node.

 

Web Portal

Cancelled leave can be viewed on the Leave Request screen of the web portal.
