How to copy weeks, days and shifts in Shift Pattern Manager

Copying A Week In Shift Pattern Manager

Weeks in Shift Pattern Manager can be copied allowing you to create one week then make amendments for any additional weeks in your Shift Pattern.

To do this right click on the week you want to copy and click Copy Week

You will be asked if you're sure you want to copy the week

Clicking Yes will create an additional week ready for any changes that need to be made. 

Copying a day

Days can be copied by right clicking on the required day i.e. Monday Week 1 and clicking Copy Day

Select which day(s) you want to copy the shifts into and click OK, this will replicate all the shifts from the original day into the selected day(s)

Copying shifts

Shifts can be copied by selecting the required shifts and clicking Copy Shift 

This will give you 2 options, Copy Same Day and Copy Different Day

Copy Same Day will copy your selected shift to the same day

Copy Different Day will copy multiple shifts to selected day(s)

Select the day(s) you want to copy your selected shifts to and click OK and the shifts will be copied

💡Select multiple shifts by pressing and holding Ctrl on your keyboard and selecting your desired shifts, click copy and select the day(s) you wish to copy multiple shifts too. 

 

When copying a shift, if there is a 'default person', you will be asked if you wish to keep that person in the new shift you are copying. 

If there are any 'adjustments' for a shift you are copying you will also be given the  option to copy the adjustment across to the new shift.
