There are a number of settings on RotaMaster than can affect annual leave, including...
Prevent leave being added when there is no remaining leave allowance
This setting will prevent admins from creating leave adjustments if a staff member doesn't have the appropriate balance remaining.
This is found in Configuration > Default Settings > Options > Leave and Adjustments:
People+ and Leave+: This setting will restrict staff form submitting leave without the relevant leave balance remaining.
Accrue Annual leave for 0 hours contracts
This will enable staff members on 0 hour contracts to accrue annual leave based on the number of hours they have worked. For more information on this please click here.
This is found in Configuration > Default Settings > Options > Leave and Adjustments:
Enable Leave Requests
This is only relevant for People+ and Leave+ customers
This will allow staff in that Rota Group to submit leave requests.
This setting is found in Rota > Rota Settings > Rota Group > Web Settings:
Automatically Calculate Leave Duration
This is only relevant for People+ and Leave+ customers
Enabling this will tell the system to calculate the duration of the leave request based on any shifts worked or any recorded daily working hours in a personnel record.
For Leave+ customers these are recorded in Personnel Record > Leave > Leave Settings and Personnel Record > Post > Contract > Daily Working Hours for People+ customers
This setting is found in Rota > Rota Settings > Rota Group > Web Settings:
Maximum number of people on leave, on the same day
This setting will restrict the number of people off on leave on the same day. This rule can be over-ridden by administrators.
For People+ & Leave+ customers... if the set number of staff for that day already have approved leave requests any further staff will be stopped from submitting a leave request and leave for that time will have to be manually added by an administrator
This is found in Rota > Rota Settings > Teams > Web Settings:
Unable to request leave fewer than x days before leave date
This setting is only relevant for People+ and Leave+ customers
This will restrict staff from submitting leave with fewer than the stated days before the requested leave date. Like the above setting admins can override this rule.
This is found in Rota > Rota Settings > Teams > Web Settings:
Allow users to view the leave calendar
This setting is only relevant for People+ and Leave+ Customers
Staff will be able to see any approved leave for Team members. This does not include any instances of sickness.
This is found on the Admin Web Portal > Content Mgt > Member Settings:
Unavailable Annual Leave
This setting is only relevant to People+ customers
This allows you to specify a date range where staff are unable to book Annual Leave, this block will affect the organisation as a whole and will remain until it is deleted.
