Limiting the number of staff on Leave
A rule can be set up per team to limit the number of staff members allowed to be off on Leave at any one time. This is set up in Rota>Rota Settings>Teams, expand the correct Rota Group and select your preferred Team:
Double click on the Team to open the Edit Team box and click on Web Settings:
Adding a number into the "Maximum number of people on Leave on same day" box will stop staff members requesting Leave if that number is exceeded.
This rule can be manually overridden by admins when manually adding Leave for a staff member, for help with this please click here.
The Leave Calendar in he web portal can be turned on for staff members in the web portal allowing them to see who else is off on Leave on any one day. To turn this on log on to the admin side of the web portal and going to Content Mgt>Member Settings>Member Settings:
Please note, this rule will not restrict more than the specified number of staff to request Leave on that day if the maximum number of people have not already been met.
